What it is
Tamanu oil is a greenish, nutty-smelling vegetable oil cold-pressed from the seeds of the tamanu tree, traditionally used topically across Pacific and Southeast Asian cultures. It is a rich emollient with a fatty-acid and tocopherol profile that also lends mild antioxidant character.
