What it is
Coco-Glucoside is a non-ionic surfactant derived from coconut fatty alcohols and glucose (from corn or wheat starch), used as a mild cleansing agent.
How it works
As an alkyl polyglucoside it lowers surface tension to help cleanse the skin while producing a soft, comparatively low-irritation foam, and is often used to soften harsher primary surfactants in a formula.
