What it is
A partially hydrolyzed derivative of jojoba oil esters, most familiar as the soft, spherical "jojoba beads" used for gentle mechanical exfoliation in scrubs and cleansers, and also used at lower levels as a film-forming skin conditioner.
How it works
As exfoliating beads the soft wax spheres physically buff away surface debris during massage, then dissolve or rinse away without the sharp edges of mineral abrasives; in leave-on use they form a light, breathable film that smooths skin feel.
