Ingredient
Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate
Cationic Hyaluronic Acid
HPT Hyaluronate
What it is
A cationic (quaternary-ammonium) derivative of hyaluronic acid engineered to bind more readily to skin and hair surfaces than unmodified hyaluronate.
How it works
The positively charged trimethylammonium groups are attracted to the net-negative skin/hair surface, improving substantivity so the hyaluronate film and its associated moisture-binding effect persist better than plain hyaluronic acid.
What it does
Skin conditioning
Film forming
