What it is
A botanical extract of true lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) flowers; milder than lavender essential oil because it carries far less of the plant's concentrated volatile fraction, though it is not a plain hydrosol either.
How it works
Residual plant polyphenols and a diluted trace of lavender's aromatic compounds (linalool, linalyl acetate) give a mild calming, antioxidant effect on the skin surface.
