What it is
A mild, coconut-oil-derived PEG-ester surfactant used as a solubilizer and secondary cleansing and emulsifying agent, common in facial cleansers, micellar waters and toners.
How it works
It combines a hydrophilic PEG chain with lipophilic coconut fatty-acid glyceride tails, allowing it to solubilize oils and fragrance in water and contribute mild surfactant cleansing.
