What it is

Sucrose Palmitate is a sugar ester formed from sucrose and palmitic acid, supplied as a mixture of mono-, di-, and tri-esters. It is used as a mild, plant- and sugar-derived nonionic emulsifier and gentle cleansing agent in creams and cleansers.
