What it is
A fatty-acid rich vegetable oil pressed from sunflower seeds, used as an emollient and, in oil cleansers, as a makeup- and sebum-dissolving base.
How it works
Its oleic and linoleic acid triglycerides soften and smooth the skin, and in a cleansing oil they bind to oil-soluble makeup and sebum so it can be rinsed or wiped away.
